How to design overlapping columns
First add a column or a row element
Then design your content for both columns
Then Add a right negative margin to your overlapping column (the left one in our example)
Add a Z-index of 10 to see your column
Your column should appear over the right one.
Add some shadow or not to your column to add some 3D perspective.
And don't forget to adapt your design to your different viewport.
